This is part 1 of 3 body image posts I'll be uploading over the space of a week. The aim of these posts is to give you a confidence boost and just to show you that you're just as beautiful as anyone else! If these three posts only help one person I'll still be a happy bunny because I believe that even just helping one person is worth this time and effort. So this first post is the dramatic difference that makeup can make, because you might not realise how average that 'smoking hot' celebrity looks when stripped of their foundation, concealer, primer, lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, bronzer, highlighter....
Like myself and many others Cameron Diaz is unfortunate enough to suffer from spot-prone skin regardless of being a stunning and talented actress. However, her being rich and famous means she has spent a hell of a lot of time around makeup artists and knows how to cover her blemishes. Cameron Diaz isn't the only celebrity known to suffer with spots either! Megan Fox (one of the most beautiful women to ever walk the earth) once suffered with acne so don't let it get you down! We may not look like these celebrities when they're on set of their latest Hollywood film but take away the makeup and they have the same problems as us.
Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying that these women aren't beautiful, who could? Just look at this picture of Demi makeup-less she looks as gorgeous as ever but for the most part celebs are caked in a ton of makeup and it's an unrealistic view we have of them. It's impossible to look how we see these ladies on the T.V without the hours they spend in dressing rooms with multiple professional makeup artists. So don't get yourself down! No one looks like they just stepped on the red carpet when they just stepped out of bed. We're all equal and you're beautiful too!
